11·5 days agoMy wife and sisters are part of the UFT. They’d NEVER give up their membership for that nonsense. Those union jobs provide incredible affordable healthcare for our families.
It seems like you want to be with her because she’s here right now and you’d rather have someone than no one. You wouldn’t be hesitating otherwise. You effectively told her that, too.
If you don’t think you can commit and she’s looking for that, you should let her go.

If you watch the dynamic of the video, Vance was there to show he could do it on the big stage. Trump was the boss there watching and trying not to jump in until he felt Vance lost the thread.
That’s a great thing to do, as a boss, for matters of middling importance. Not so great when you’re both fucking morons and are risking a global conflict.

Rep. Ralph Norman, R-S.C., says he has never voted for a continuing resolution, what lawmakers often call a CR, but he is on board with Johnson’s effort. He says he has confidence in Trump and the Department of Government Efficiency, led by Elon Musk, to make a difference on the nation’s debt.
“I don’t like CRs,” Norman said. “But what’s the alternative? Negotiate with Democrats? No.”

13·15 days agoWhile there is drinking at the games, I don’t believe most people drink as much at baseball games as they do at soccer (football) games. MLB, especially, really tries to present itself as a family oriented sport.
I hope he at least likes it when Putin’s balls slap his chin repeatedly.
I work for a company that has a lot of trade with both countries. Owners are already talking about the possibility of needing to raise prices to account for the tariffs. The plan appears to be to try to hold the line, but this well to do but family owned business can only hold that line for so long.
We’ll get to see his face then every time we buy a dozen eggs.
How do we preserve this man forever?
