Ah OK what GPU are you using? are you using the integrated graphics of your CPU?

This is most likely because of encoding. Did you change any settings in jellyfin for hardware acceleration? Have you passed theough your GPU? You will need to find out what codecs your GPU supports and enable those in the jellyfin hardware encoding spot.

I run jellyfin on an LXC, so first get jellyfin installed personally I would separate jellyfin and your other docker containers, I have a separate VM for my podman containers. I need jellyfin up 100% of the time so that’s why its separate.

Work on the first problem, getting jellydin installed I wouldn’t use docker, just follow the steps for installing it on Ubuntu directly.

Thirdly, read through the jellyfin docs for hardware acceleration. Its always best practice to not just run scripts blindly on your machine.

Lastly take a break if you can’t figure it out, when I’m stuck I always need to take a day and just think stuff over and I usually figure out why its not working by just doing that.

You can simplify the process by just using the reolink doorbell directly with HA. Reolink is an integration in HA. Works completely local and I have all my cameras in a clan with no internet access. You don’t need any app to setup the camera either.

If you really want to use frigate there is that option too.

Ha correct they do, in my case. I meant to say POE. All my cameras are hard wired into my switch via an Ethernet cable so they are powered by my network switch. After that it automatically gets an IP address and you can browse to the webpage if it supports that. If you want to have it integrate well with HA make sure to double check the models work with HA first.

I would second reolink. I have all POE cameras including the doorbell. Love them, the HA integration is fantastic and they have no internet at all. Separate vlan with only access to HA, no DNS, nothing else. No need for an account, just plug it in and connect it to WiFi.

I struggle with the fact that god created Lucifer who was his right hand man, he then rebelled and God just banished him from heaven, didn’t strip his powers, didn’t kill him. I blocked my printer from having internet access and blocking its random DNS attempts as well 2 months after I bought it. They are amazing printers for beginners and priced very well IMO. I love my printer bit will never update the firmware because of this enshittification.

I figured this out. My depth of the text was wrong and I was able tofiguree out how to embed the text into the project so we are good! I’ve tried orcaslicer but it won’t open on my fedora setup for some reason and I’m also running Bambi studio in docker which is nice.

Exactly why every game now is online required and is half passed/half finished.

This the main reason I switched from traefik, I can have certificates on all my internal stuff and not just on my docker host. I personally love NPM but maybe I’ll give NPMPlus a try, I have never heard of it.

Problem is that we waited 10 twara and got this. Doesn’t even compare to inquisition, feels like a VERY small game and the dialogue, story and combat is nor great. Not to mention there is no crafting and the game is very much clpawd and not open world like. Doesn’t even stand close to Inquisition, which I might add won fame of the year without live service.

+1 to this, you don’t have to activate. You get an activation watermark at the bottom right hand corner, not a big deal

I’m a huge dragon age fan but I agree this game is not like the others. The gameplay is very dragon age 2 like but its not fluid and feels choppy sometimes.

I’m playing a rogue and when I just want to hit a wooden crate my character jumps up and down and almost falls over edges… The tactical part of fighting in this game is not there, inquisition had it perfectly. I could pause the game, fill up potions, play as my other companions if I died. You can’t do any of that.

The dialogue seems very AI like, short conversations and the start of the game is very rough, cant tell if the tone is suppose to be serious or not. Bellara seems to be a quirky funny not so serious character but I can’t tell if I’m suppose to be serious or laugh, when the world is falling apart and she is making weird jokes and doesn’t seem serious at all.

The writing is bad, combat seems choppy and its more of a hack and slash game rather than having to be mindful of your company ions health, gear and abilities.

There is no crafting at all in the game, there are a set number of weapons that you just keep upgrading by getting points for completing quests… Its just not that fun, I loved going through quests and wondering what weapon I’ll pick up or what schematic I’ll pick up. Maybe I’m just an old fart but this game has not been what I hoped for.

I’m hugely disappointed in this game and it really leaves a big sour in my mouth after waiting since 2014 for this game…
