One of my players is a Summoner who is using picture #3 as his dragon eidolon. Little guy is like if a bulldog was also a portal to the Astral plane obsessed with collecting junk. His breath weapon is splinters.
Well in the state of Texas, once the idea is conceived, you have to carry it to term.
That doesn’t mean he was “informing” on the right wing conspiracies. I will bet money that this is going to turn out like the January 6th informants, who were right wing nutjobs hired by the FBI to… “investigate antifa.”
The Dune soundtrack tells me that this is actually bangin’.
I always get static shocks really bad at the grocery store! I think it’s the cart wheels making a Van Der Graff generator effect. I get a zap every time I touch a shelf! It would be nice to not have to deal with that.
The great thing about BG3 is because the game hews so close to the 5e rules, a lot of build guides for tabletop are perfectly valid:

Do note that the way Wild Shape works is one of the biggest differences in BG3 from 5e (can’t use abilities from multiclassing like Rage or Flurry of Blows in wild shape, auto-scaling animal forms, etc.), so take it with a grain of salt.
I had this happen when I fast traveled back to an Act 1 area while the Halsin quest was active. I got his backpack in my inventory after fast traveling and then he disappeared completely from my camp and Last Light. Had to reload a save to get him back.
Any persistent AoE damage spells seem to be extremely good, especially if you can set them up in a choke point and continually shove enemies back into them. Hunger of Hadar, Wall of Fire, Cloud of Daggers, Spike Growth, etc.
Spells that reposition enemies can also take the place of shoves: Thuder Wave, Eldritch Blast with repelling invocation. You miss out on loot if you kill a boss this way, but sometimes the cheese is too delicious.
Spirit Guardians has been good to me. Sometimes I just have Shadowheart cast it and spend her action dashing through all the enemies on screen.
Would definitely recommend giving Astarion the Thief subclass for the broken bonus action economy. It meshes well with his vampire bite ability.
I cheesed a major boss fight in Act 3 with Thunder Wave. Still got the loot, too, because the baddie was supposed to “escape” after being reduced to 0HP and got put back on the map.
Now it is just Field.
There are several hats that look cowboy hat-ish.
You have another chance to get her just before entering Act 2 if you head to the Mountain Pass. If you enter Act 2 without her, she is gone forever.
Ladyhawke, Excalibur (this one is much more R rated than most, it features an on-screen rape in the first 5 minutes), Legend, Labyrinth, The Princess Bride, Krull, Conan.
The 80’s were really a heyday for fantasy movies, weren’t they?

The Audubon app is great for tracking birds you’ve seen, and the observations are used for scientific studies!
Take the Sharpshooter feat and then you can hit a lot and hit very hard.
There are two battles before the final boss. One is the courtyard you are at. The other isn’t so much a battle as a harried sprint to your objective. There’s another restoration pod at the door to the boss. Go ham.
Edit: The final boss fight is not a gimme, though, so don’t use up all your consumables on the way there! I went into part of it expecting a victory lap and got my shit packed.
Here’s a link to the actual interview this quote is from: https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/david-gaider-interview-romanceable-companions-and-his-cancelled-planescape-sequel
The most interesting thing I learned from this is David Gaider wrote Carth fanfiction in response to KotOR feedback.
Thank you! I keep seeing reporting about this study, but I want to read the actual thing!
