Whether a diet is vegan or not has literally nothing to do with how healthy it is.

World News@lemmy.world•Alcohol, nicotine and more — could drugs like Ozempic curb the desire for vices?English
2·22 days agoI might be a bit different since I use Mounjaro for (very well-managed) diabetes, but it definitely hasn’t reduced my desire for alcohol.
My biggest pro was my social life vastly improving after switching to WFH. As a naturally introverted person, I burned all my social energy at the office and nights/weekends went into hermit mode. Now I’m sitting on my charger all day while I work and actually have the energy to see my friends.

Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•Why should only guys get paid for donations?
1·1 month agoWow, we’ve managed to combine AI and boomer humor for a new low.
Maybe an unpopular opinion, but me. I think my current phone still has a gen or two in it, but I’ll probably go this route for my next upgrade. I don’t need all the features even my current phone has, and I’m a sucker for a sleek device.

11·4 months agoI literally never watch shorts. I’ve selected the option to show less shorts on my computer, I select the not interested option on each individual video on my TV when the row of them shows up, and they still constantly come back.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What's appealing about people who are seen as extrovert but describe themselves as introvert?
8·4 months agoI think a lot of people convolute introversion with social anxiety.
My social life vastly improved when I switched to working remotely. When I wasn’t, I was burning all my social energy at work and nights and weekends I’d go into hermit mode. Now I’m sitting on my social charger all day and have the energy to hang out with my friends after work/on weekends. Lots of them don’t believe I’m introverted.
A bartender friend coined the term “closet extrovert” to describe me and I don’t hate it.
Isn’t this just a hero?

When you take a picture with your phone, you’re opening up the stock/default camera app to do so. There are alternative camera apps in the App Store/Google Play that offer different features.
Yeah, Rob Paravonian.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•What is your age range for dating? 🤔 😮
3·5 months agoI’m 38 and can’t imagine dating a 26 year old. The woman I’m currently seeing is my same age and it’s great.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•When your the big spoon how do you keep your earthward arm from falling asleep?
491·5 months agoThere’s nothing more romantic than falling asleep spooning, waking up and softly whispering to your partner “my shoulder’s dislocated, get off me.”

A little more context would be helpful, but in general, I think Atomic Habits and Digital Minimalism remain two of the best books in this general vein.
