It’s probably because that’s the only setup they can build to make the RB fast and Max can drive that setup to the max. The RB is lacking in pure engine power and aero efficiency. One of my pet peeves with the show is that some of the actors had a different accent (like Juliette and her dad), which doesn’t make sense at all. Like Common’s accent sticks out like a sore thumb, they could’ve at least shown a couple of more people from the floors he grew up in and have them speak like him to ground his accent in the world.

I’m a descendant of immigrants in the Netherlands and there is definitely a small subset of 2nd and 3rd gen immigrants who is ruining it for all immigrants. PVV would have never been voted in as the biggest party if the parents (who never bothered to integrate and to learn the language) of these trouble making 2nd/3rd gen migrants weren’t given permanent residency.

30 years ago people who pointed out the problems these non integrated migrants could cause in the future were labeled racists by the left wing parties at the time, even though the leader of the socialist party warned about this. The labor party who was in power at the time also didn’t bother to tackle this issue, since they relied on the immigrant vote. And now since the Muslims started their own center right conservative party, labor lost a big voting block and the fascists are in power because people have had it with the inaction of the labor party.

Same thing is happening with the refugees. The illegals who have zero chance to get a refugee status and who are committing crimes have soured people’s attitudes towards the real refugees. Towns that were once welcoming towards refugees want to see the refugee center in their town gone.

Booted my Quest 2 recently. They are trying to push that metaverse bs hard on the front page. And every metaverse game thumbnail is of course AI slop. And proper VR games are pushed all the way down. Meta is destroying VR gaming and VR in general. No smart game dev will put serious time and money into VR in the future.
