Had very little time this week, since a big project started more than a year ago is finally about to be concluded, but I managed to finish Misoshiru de Kanpai!. I started reading it in 2020, and while sometimes the cooking parts were a bit too much, it always managed to be a sweet romance.
The kangaroo scene had me in tears! 😂
At least this ridiculous arc has finished…
I absolutely adored Sailor Moon when it originally came out! 🥰
Discussion for the last chapter here, in case someone missed it: https://ani.social/post/7214348
Kimagure Orange Road? It’s been decades! 🥰
It’s been pretty common with OPM, sadly. Guess it would make more sense in a tankōbon.
I’m conflicted. On one hand, I had it easier than people that followed it week by week, since I basically binged 165 chapters in two days and only had to wait one week more for the last one.
On the other hand… Holy 💩, that was a ride. It pulled a Fuuka twice on me. And I do not like that, even if the aforementioned is in my top ten list.
I am not sure if Aka wanted to play more Apex or whatnot, but it honestly felt a little too stretched at the end. What about all the people other than Ruby? Yes, there were panels depicting them. Not enough. Kana was just shown completely (and understandably) wrecked, but nothing more.
You can’t do this to me. 😢
I think it’s mostly Aoi that really doesn’t care. Confidence in her own ideals and capabilities, maybe? 🤔
Prologue (?) chapter. Looks right up my alley. 🥰
Probably the funniest gag they had in a while. Wish I was this skilled at Jenga. 🥲
Insanity and the need to control everything, that’s why.
It annoys me to no end. I purchase the stuff I like when available in my country, but this is neither on Play Books, nor Kindle. Only that 💩.
Other than those I posted (and a metric ton of manhwa about villainesses), this week the two biggest discoveries for me where:
It’s a fun story of a wrongly transmigrated (how novel) woman into the classic medieval/magic/dungeons world. To ‘compensate’ her for their mistake, the god of that world trains her to be a skilled pharmacist. The story is relatively simple and cute, with some hints of romance. Since it’s on Alpha-Manga, it took me forever to manage to read the available chapters. Wish they would just release a subscription tier instead of their stupid points.
Instead of transmigrated pharmacist, loli alchemist. The first chapter had me in tears with the constant loli doing something noises. The story is extremely cute, for once the parents are absolutely great and supportive, and the main protagonist is absolutely adorable. 🥰
I know she’s my favorite of the sisters (Sakura still best girl), but it looks like it started much better than with Nico. Can’t wait for next week!
It looks interesting, but I am not sure if I’ll enjoy it in the long run. For the time being I have binged through the available chapters. I’ll let it build up a little more and then try again.
