Hard disagree. Corporations taking L’s due to consumer choice is just about the last non-violent message we have that ever gets a response. Calling reps doesn’t matter at all, and I have no idea how changing shopping habits is expected to be harder than the degree of protesting required to achieve anything.
Many of our lives are improved by ditching the abusive relationship with these giant corporations, anyway, so the idea that it’s even strictly a burden is just not accurate.

Lol sure, “let them do whatever they want but it should be ILLEGAL not to write it on the box!”

Hell yeah, you just made it an “Exercises in Futility” kinda day. Well, musically anyway. I had the rest covered already
Ow! My sperm!

Is that actual “audiophile” nonsense? I sure hope so, that’s a new one on me. If so they are starting to cross over into accidentally cool (cool but verifiably utterly useless, to be clear).

The problem with making that assumption is that it downplays the very scary degree of spying technology (evidenced by contracts with firms that supply such) they are using.
It’s a new degree of surveillance escalation to this fascist organization, and it’s bad news for everyone.

What a petty “haul” for completely fucking someone’s life up. We should express things in “$ per harm” more often if we can.
Just yet more evidence, these folks are monsters.
"You get ejected into a bad and worsening job market with no warning or recourse, throwing your (and your family’s?) life into a suddenly scary future.
In return, I get a used car, shitty enough it can’t pass emissions tests. I like this deal so much I want to do it thousands of times!"

This is such a strange and out-of-touch comment (to me) that I can’t tell if it’s bad sarcasm or…what.
What a great way to frame it, I love this! I typically spend something like 60-80% of time available for a given task thinking through approaches and trade-offs, etc. Usually there comes a point when the way forward becomes clear, even obvious.
After that? Bliss. I’m snapping together a LEGO set I designed, composed of pieces I picked (maybe made one or two new ones!), and luxuriating in how it all feels, when put together.
