Yeah, so here’s the thing. The Azov Battalion was a Nazi force up until they were obliterated during the Mariupol massacre. It’s since been somewhat denazified but they still continue to fly the modified wolfsangel. This is all the Russians can point to. But remember the Russian Wagner group? They too were full fledged Nazis so it’s utterly stupid for Putin to point fingers. But that’s not the point, it’s just a very flimsy reason for the Russians to justify the invasion.

That’s a fair interpretation. My point was to illustrate that the goal of Buddhism isn’t to achieve happiness, but rather a practice to observe “truth” and the “source” of all things. This has the benefit, in my experience, of managing unnecessary suffering.

I was watching a Chomsky clip where he attributes the situation in Israel/middle east to Jewish Supremacy. I’ve never heard that before, but it sounds a lot like what the Nazis were advocating back in the day.

I would consider communism of some sort to be the ideal and the direction we should strive for. It doesn’t have to be communism but I’ve always wondered what a purely stateless and classless society would look like. It’s just hard for me to imagine, being the animals that we are, imbibing such a society
