We were already seeing some changes in discourse from his government to try to recover from it, and Trump just handled him a perfect opportunity to show some backbone and win back part of the electorate.

This controversy is pretty much “You’re having fun in a different way from what we intended. This is not allowed so we blocked it.”.
Which is a very “Nintendo” thing to do. But hopefully they’ll change things in the future and give a “classic” option or something similar.
More information so people can make proper purchase decisions is always good. The current screen may be fine for most, but there’s people who are very sensitive to this type of slow screen and will prefer to wait for a new hardware revision.
How does it compare to other handhelds, though
It’s a significantly more expensive handheld, but I’ve found a video with a comparison to the ROG Ally and it makes the Switch 2 screen look really bad.
Source is a page on Facebook so I can’t vouch for its veracity, but it matches multiple reports we’re seeing from trusted sources that the screen is laggy - besides the ones mentioned in the OP link we also got the Digital Foundry guys saying the same in their review.
Nintendo probably uses more than one screen manufacturer.

I asked for recommendations on something trashy ,“so bad it’s good”, and ended up with this. And it worked perfectly - I was in just the right mood to laugh out lout at the horrible CG monsters and chuuni bullshit.
It may be capped at a 100%, they are so cheap, I never bothered testing
From what I’ve read there’s no cap on augments, but apparently here’s a maximum of 9999XP per kill.

I ended up spending the $40 or whatever to get the Mio and Noah Amiibo, and they are sitting on my desk right now.
I also got those, I love Xenoblade too much. The only Amiibo’s I’ve ever bought are the Noah/Mio and Pyra/Mythra pairs.
Should probably grab a Shulk one as well since they still appear to be available.
Fairly solid for its age. It’s more of a romance/slice-of-life but has some neat sci-fi ideas, in particular in the “Cure” route that acts as the main story ending. I can see why people mention it as an inspiration for games like Chaos;Head and Steins;Gate.
The main issue is that most of the routes follow the same formula, so they get boring after a while.
Anyway, quite curious for Ever 17 now since everyone says it’s miles better than the first game - Never 7 has a 6.73 rating on VNDB while Ever 17 has a 8.45.
Slow week, wasn’t very motivated for some reason. Otherwise I’d probably have finished both games below.

Followed the plan I mentioned last week - did a first “blind” run which got me the Yuka route, then found a nice guide to help me get the other routes.
I’ve cleared all the “main game” routes (Yuka, Haruka, Saki, Kurumi, Izumi “Cure” and Izumi), and completed the CG library. Only thing left now is the “Append Story”, an extra option in the main menu that shows up after you clear Yuka’s route, which appears to be her POV of the story.

Game is mostly good, but has the annoying tendency (reminiscent of old-school Castlevanias) of having enemies positioned to “trip” you and make you fall down when you’re doing plataforming sections. :/
Are they? If you didn’t buy the game with the intent of lending/reselling later I feel they’re even worse than code-in-a-box.

I prefer my Cosmopolitans less sweet and lighter on the Cranberry juice.
I think it tastes a better with juice, but you can also use 5ml cranberry syrup instead. It’s quite convenient since the syrup has a longer shelf life.
While I agree with the overall message, I’d say this is on Nintendo for not doing proper communication on the topic. They must know this is a major concern for most people who had a Switch.
Yes, I get they don’t want to acknowledge the drift problem publicly, but surely someone on their marketing team can still come up with a way to discuss the improvements they made and alleviate fears.
I checked out Robotics;dash Elite form the library again and gave it about an hour. I LOVE Steins;gate, but it’s been hard getting into other visual novels in the Science Adventure Series. Maybe I’m just not in a reading mood lately.
SciAdv VNs are very different from each other, liking some of them but not others is fairly common. And as much as as love Robotics;Notes that one is a very slow burn, it’s mostly a slice-of-life story with some mystery and sci-fi sprinkled on.
From what I can gather it’s a new standalone game taking place in the same universe as their mobile game (also called “Atelier Resleriana”, but with a different sub title).
Yeah, it’s entirely possible that Trump has just given next year’s election to Lula on a silver platter.
