Just “old”
Just “old”
I want to say something more cerebral and involved, but I’d be lying. It’s Brotato
Bad real estate is fantastic, it’s incredible how bad some of those places are
I’ll second this, these posts are bright spots on my feed
I ended up having a go at asking DuckDuckGo’s ai about similar photographers, and then quizzing it about what genre this might be, and the “human-altered landscape” thing typified by Toshio Shibata is known as “New Topographics”. It still doesn’t completely cover what I’m interested in, but it’s a good rabbit hole that goes in the right direction
Well that’s tonight’s movie sorted then, thanks!
He’s only been in office for a few weeks, how the hell has he started a fungal zombie apocalypse already?!
I have a full-size Keychron, and I love it, I think it was fantastic bang for buck
It’s an amazing tune, and the video’s great
Ironic that the image has a red line that’s not plummeting, unless it’s tracking inequality and completely-screwedness
That’s exactly what I saw, I had to read the title to get the real context
Universal credit has been a shambles from start to finish, almost as if cruelty and weakening the welfare state were prioritised by the tories over actual welfare
Tories need some shred of ethics
This is the way. I’m trying to have my camera on-hand more, and add time into essential trips etc so if I want to stop to take a couple of shots I can. I’m also planning my holidays/trips with more of an eye to taking photos, rather than that being incidental to the trip - eg: I last went to Belgrade, which is a cool city, and planned out the interesting bits of brutalist architecture I wanted to see and photograph before I went.
How weird! Could the fact that more and people are falling below the poverty line have something to do with an increase in people stealing stuff they can’t afford? How will we ever know?
We transferred a huge chunk of public wealth to private companies during covid, and unless we tax that back, we’re only going to see this situation get worse
5 stars, will crash again
I’ve been slightly obsessed by Love Endeavour (Maurice Fulton Remix) by Alice Smith from 2014, Golden Fool by Gnome (and indeed the whole album), and Cabin Fever by Slomosa (and indeed almost everything they’ve done), both released last year

That was a well-found location, the colours in that last photo are perfect
I’d say stuff before ~2000 is retro. It’s from the previous millennium after all, and that seems way older than stuff from just the last century!
