  • MX Linux is simple and just works. The XFCE version is pretty light and snappy and the utilities, which it shares with AntiX, just work.

I’m a newbie at Linux, because my personal, very old 2012 computer just can’t work Windows 7…Windows was eating up all resources. I got MX Linux in a USB (2.0) and it just runs in that old hardware.

Ended up switching to AntiX, because it manages memory even better (runs with as little as 256 MB of RAM) and it recognized everything. AntiX is like installing Debian with a bit of utilities loaded. If you add the FT10/Tint2 bar, it feels as if you have a Desktop Manager, instead of a Windows Manager.

My 4GB RAM, old AMD64, Radeon computer, with an old rotational Hard Drive, just goes. Starts faster than my Laptop computer with 32GB RAM, Intel I7 with an SDD and it just has a good feeling about it.

MX Linux on a USB and persistence is working on any other computer I have. And you can focus on the important stuff: using your computer, instead of messing around with the setup constantly.

  • This Mexican President has been one of the most corrupt and inept presidents in Mexican history. Allied with organized crime and purposeful in his approach to corrupt and destroy the Mexican Army.

He’s also not in good terms with the Industry leaders that could do an embargo with Ecuador. A country that has been infiltrated severely by Mexican narcos, who were also trying to influence their elections by assassinating candidates.

Dude has also criticized the US, Mexico’s most important partner and a strong backer to make Mexico influential in Latin America.

There’s nothing AMLO can do but to make symbolic gestures.

  • Funny thing is that immigration is a matter of two parties: the receiving country and the country of origin. Even if the Supreme Court of the US says it’s OK for Texas to deport…Texas doesn’t have any agreement with Mexico or any other country to deport people to.

Mexico already said they only have an agreement with the US…not with f’ing Texas.

So, any caught immigrants in Texas will either have to be shipped to some country that will take them, or be kept in Texas jail.

Either way, it will be expensive. It will create a humanitarian crises, and it will create an unsafe situation for Americans abroad, in particular in Mexico.

The Supreme Court has forgotten that International agreements take precedence over local laws.
