It’s not much money, but in Russia I could live decently for ~3.5 years with that kind of money. :)

I’ve met quite a few people who say that although there were disadvantages, on average it was ok to live in Soviet Union after the 60s. If you asked around in Russia, there would even be those who praised it. Because there were some advantages like not bad free education and free medicine, for example. In some good times, you could even get a free apartment or a piece of land. And now, under capitalism, it is very difficult to earn an apartment in the most developed cities.

And it also causes addiction in some unstable people.

Some Anecdote:
"An indigenous resident in a southern resort lies under a palm tree in his homeland, resting. A businessman from Europe walks by.
– Here you are, lying around, but you could climb a palm tree and pick bananas. Go to the market and sell.
– And why?
– Well, why! With the money from what you’ve sold, you’ll buy a cart and you’ll get a lot more!
– But why?
– Yes, you can already buy a truck from what you’ve sold and carry large volumes, then hire workers, and you’ll lie there and do nothing!
– And I’m already lying there and doing nothing :)"
No offense intended. It’s just important not to get hung up on the one point of view for to long. :)

That’s because it allows someone to win a lot of money without producing anything in the real world.

On this day in my country, June 1, often they say on TV that this is International Children’s Day or something similar. In most families in our country, it seems to me that on this day childrens do not receive any special gifts, but sometimes just go with their parents to a cafe or a park or a cinema or something similar to a museum. Although without special gifts, it’s still a good pastime.

I know that there is a libretaxi. It’s kind of like FOSS Uber but I haven’t used it myself. I’m not sure how difficult it is to build such an app. I think the difficulties usually lie in ensuring compliance with all laws, ensuring fame among users, i.e. somehow advertise. website: https://libretaxi.org/ github: https://github.com/ro31337/libretaxi

It would be nice if people were so aware, but I’m afraid most people will fall for it.

It doesn’t have any more propaganda than any of the big Western media.
I’m sorry I didn’t notice. Then it’s a little unexpected.
And it’s not like it didn’t have a reason. A lot of closed “capitalist” software has been seen in not very good and honest actions. And the penalties for this were very light. Yes open source mostly is a different story.
Maybe it’s somehow related with the Great Firewall and they are not included in the statistics correctly.

JShelter and Decentraleyes. And uBlock Origins, but it’s already popular without me. :)
And a special keyboard with ~467 keys. One key for each syscall.

Ubuntu is no longer GNU/Linux distro. Linux is just a kernel.:)

So robotic behavior.

And mostly ordinary people are tired of the war I think.

People are different. There is people on the west and on the east and there are also aggressive Nationalists. I always wondered why journalist and politics often say that if people support the West they must necessarily support joining NATO. And this is not always the case. It’s very complicated and opinions are not divided only into black and white.

Then I’m sorry about your experience. Maybe it has something to do with the versions of programs/libraries specifically on Fedor’s distribution. If I have the opportunity, I could try to run this game, but I have Arch linux.
I would buy cheap electronic parts to build something like a Risc-v handheld(or PDA) computer to replace a smartphone with easily replaceable parts. This might help me figure out how to work with mipi dsi displays and how to write drivers for them. :) And besides that, I would stock up on canned food and maybe a solar panel capable of charging a laptop, for example.
