Generally countries in the west only get involved in conflicts if they get something out of it, be it directly via getting wealth from the country, or indirectly like curbing successful non-capitalistic economies before they catch on and their own people start questioning the billionaires. The “we’re there to liberate people” is just marketing speech.

Unless the videos have proper depth maps and identifiers for objects and actions they’re not going to be as effective as, say, robot arm surgery data, or vr captured movement and tracking. You’re basically adding a layer to the learning to first process the video correctly into something usable and then learn from that. Not very efficient and highly dependant on cameras and angles.

Does that lead to any performance hiccups with very detailed svgs? The benefit of raster is you can mipmap them, so you don’t need to see how super detailed the coast of a country is like when it’s only a few pixels on screen. I suppose you could fake mipmaps by having different levels of detail for svgs that get swapped between, as long as any other changes you make to the svg are simple colour changes?
