This may not even be anti-Trump motivated. Literally nobody likes being in formation, drill or parade; it fucking sucks. The bigger the event/ceremony the worse it is. This may just be anti-formation sabotage.

My first thought, I’m getting paid to do this though.
JamesTBagg@lemmy.worldto News@lemmy.world•Terrified Trump flees tariffs war after CEOs’ ‘empty shelves’ warning10·21 days agoEh … if played out like the above comment suggests, with China giving us a little token tariff on US imports to twist the knife, we on the ground won’t be affected. Fuck, we’ll be vastly better off than under the Trump tariffs plans. We all win, he loses.

I think there was a story I read, years ago, about a computer being used to identify and destroy AA platforms in a simulated war exercise. Back then (back in my day) it wasn’t called AI, it was a machine learning program. But anyway, the computer was scored based on how many targets it successfully destroyed. However, it could only engage targets when a clear to fire authorization was given by a human.
Eventually then endeavor was abandoned because the computer figured out it was humans preventing it from getting a higher score. So, mathematically it made sense for the machine to kill its handlers so as to grant itself fire-at-will capabilities.
It may have been a sci-fi piece and not a real event. It becomes more and more difficult to tell now a days.

Appreciate the correction. All the conjugations are hardest thing for my brain to remember.
Those conjugations are the hardest thing for my brain to wrap around.
As I’m someone slowly and difficultly learning Spanish, for the soul purpose of visiting because, yo quiero comé muchos tacos de cabeza y bebe unas micheladas, I appreciate you. I’ll bet I missed a dozen accents.

JamesTBagg@lemmy.worldto News@lemmy.world•US fires Greenland military base chief for 'undermining' JD Vance51·1 month agoNo, second in command is the Secretary of Defense. But if the Vice President is acting on behalf or under direction of the president it could be seen as a billet. Walking around bases every unit has pictures of their chains of command, all of them include the VP and have for a long time.
JamesTBagg@lemmy.worldto News@lemmy.world•US fires Greenland military base chief for 'undermining' JD Vance201·1 month agoThat’s not what chain of command means. It simply establishes the hierarchy. Commands can be given by anyone who outranks you, or holds a billet that comes with higher authority. Trump and Vance at the top of that chain and can issue legal orders to literally anyone in the US military.

So, you could do it for more than fun; less than a dollar a round for .308, then 5 dollars per tail… that’s a decent profit.
I’ve been called an “elder millennial” before and I thought that was funny. But just “elder”… bitch, fuck you!
She started losing me a few years ago, when claiming to be a socialist & pro-union, she voted to make it illegal for railroad workers to strike. Pro-union until their collective action might make life a little inconvenient, then knock their teeth out for the capitalists.
I haven’t really kept track of her since then.
