  • You have a big heart, and that’s a good thing. I could not disagree with you more. ‘No man left behind’ is a noble code to live to but I think that following it to an absolute sense defeats it’s purpose. ‘No man left behind’ to me means anybody on my team is never alone. The key is they have to be on my team and in this case everyone who isn’t a nazi is on my team. Neo-nazis have made real threats against people who I’m on the same team with and I would be leaving them behind if I didn’t oppose neo-nazis. If it comes to it, yeah Nazi lives don’t matter.

I’m not saying hunt them down and kill them. I’m saying take the ones who have actually done terrible things, put them in prison. Tell them to either grow up and change, or stay behind bars until they’re so insignificant that there’s no need to hold them anymore or until they die naturally. Holding neo-nazis accountable shouldn’t be controversial. If that requires taking their life I won’t shed any tears, but that is absolutely a last resort.

  • Hahahaha! No! Not with neo-nazis. Look with racists and bigots I’ll agree, try compassion first. I’ve done that and for most racists and bigots I’ve confronted it has worked. I didn’t change them to be a champion of minorities but usually I can convince someone to behave nicer. Neo-nazis on the other hand are not just regular racists and bigots who say terrible things but don’t actually do anything. Neo-nazis are the extreme and if they’re an adult regardless of their life experience they know what they’re saying is wrong. So no, I have no compassion and will never have compassion for an adult who is a neo-nazi. Period.

Insult Caitlin Jenner about everything else she’s a horrible person about. She killed a person, she supports a fascist, she’s an adultular, a narcissist, was on the Kardashians, seriously take your pick. I could talk trash about Caitlin Jenner for a long time without ever bringing up her transition. I don’t need to be transphobic to “inflict abuse”.

  • They should be called Nazi’s. Some left-wing nut job calling people fascist is an old trope. People can ignore it because they’ve seen it on TV a thousand times, it’s a joke. Calling someone a Nazi on the other hand isn’t used for a joke nearly as often. It’s much more difficult for a layman to ignore. So while you are technically correct that calling them Nazi’s is not the correct use of that word you don’t get to decide what words we get to use. That is decided by the zeitgeist and social consciousness and calling MAGA followers Nazis is what’s cutting through the noise.

Because some people view Men’s sports as professional, and a career opportunity. Women’s sports on the other hand are seen by those people as recreational, and something fun to do outside of the house.

Who would put a professional player against a recreational player? That’s just not fair, the recreational player would be embarrassed at how bad they are and it wouldn’t be fun to watch.

Obviously nothing I said is true but it’s an opinion held by many.

  • Using NATO to stop Trump, you want WW3? Because that’s how you get WW3. You’re not going to get any help until you help yourselfs. It’s your house, you have to clean it up. If you need an idea of a place to start, I’d start with the Democrats.

If you have democratic senators you should be a thorn in their side about why aren’t they grinding the Senate to a halt. Why they aren’t using every tool available to resist senate Republicans. The Republicans did when Obama was president and he wasn’t a fascist. Now seems like a good time to start using all those republican cheats to blanket obstruct the Senate and Congress.

If you have republican senators you should be getting involved with the democratic party, first screaming and dragging everyone you know with you. Then demanding over and over that the old game is dead and they need you and the people to get out of this.

Regardless, no one is coming to save you. You need to first believe that you can actually work with your neighbors, then saves yourselves. Tons of Americans have been begging for your help to stop Trump for over a decade now and you thought it was just their job to take care of it. Well guess what, it was yours too and you failed to answer the call.

  • I’m not American so I’m not in as desperate a situation as you might be. That said, I have had the same discussions with many people and I’ve learned a few things.

One, ignoring a problem and hoping that it goes away is a totally natural coping strategy that works more often than we care to admit. It’s a perfectly appropriate coping strategy when you’re waiting out winter, but it’s maladapted to stopping fascists from knocking on your door.

Two, people only have so much bandwidth. Their jobs, kids, school work, and just existing takes up that bandwidth. When someone’s bandwidth is maxed out the only time I’ve been able to reach them is when they’re already thinking about something I have a very strong argument that aligns with their goals. Otherwise it’s a waste of time, they’re worried about getting their kids fed and in bed, they don’t have the brain power to think about how they could help overthrow the oligarchy.

Three, when those opportunities arise patience is key. Listen way more than than I speak, always keep the conversation focused on what they’re concerned about.

‘Know when to hold em, know when to fold them. Know when to walk away, know when to run.’

  • I know this is just splitting hairs but for brief periods of time democratic principles did coexist with a capitalist system. For example, the post-WWII economic and civil rights booms existed inside of a capitalist system. It’s just that they can’t coexist for very long because they’re based on competing ideologies. Plus if it takes a world war to accomplish a brief respite in the class struggle it’s a very costly coexistence.
