The glyph lights are kind of a gimmick but I found myself using them a lot.
I would 100% buy another Nothing phone

Oh fuck no… Samsung taught me to hate bloatware. Nothing is not even in the same league. The 2a came with an app to integrate other Nothing devices and an AI wallpaper generator. It also came with some software to integrate with the glyph interface that I actually liked.
Just an FYI, a lot of phones can now be debloated using Shizuku and Canta. Just search the right process for your phone
Pretty light on bloatware. I broke my Nothing 2A’s screen a couple months ago (it got ran over by a Camry) and I still miss it… I mean I still have it, and it still works but finding a cheap screen for it in the US is difficult
Not a barefoot person but I’ve heard it claimed that its better for your feet. Seems off to me but its not like we evolved shoes so what do I know?
“New squid just dropped!”
I miss Suzuki
Terribile hobbyist photographer here. I have shot on everything from film to shitty cell phone cameras.
I guess I’m not worried about this aspect of it due to the kind of photography I do. I mean can you even tell for sure what I’ve shot these on?
What I am saying is the investments are at a scale that it could cause a resession when these companies fail. Meaning its likely to effect everyone in the economy we all work in. You wont need to be working on AI to feel the impact
The problem is it will hurt everyone when they fail
Amazon isn’t a good comparison. People need to buy things. Having a better way to do that was and is worth billions.
There is no revolutionary product that people need on the horizon for AI. The products released using it are mostly just fun toys, because it can’t be trusted with anything serious. There’s no indication this will change in the near to distant future
I was just there in March. Hiked Mount Hollywood and finshed at the observatory. It was a fun day
Definitely the MG for me. The C2 is pretty rad too
Maybe? I could see a fan render or OEM designer on a concept drawing going for a single handle appearance. I don’t like it, but I don’t think that’s a telltale that it’s an AI drawing. The weird gap on the A-pillar makes me think it might be but its not enough for me to be certain.
I definitely don’t like the design but that’s subjective. I’m already not a fan of modern Chrysler’s design language so I’m biased against it. I’ve seen a lot of bad fan renders even before AI was around and it just seems like it could just be one of those
I use FOSS stuff and it ain’t perfect. I just personally can not longer tolerate all the ads and tracking
There’s a lot of bad with AI so I guess I get the feeling, but there needs to be some nuance in evaluting this stuff
How do you know this one is AI? I’m genuinely asking because I couldn’t tell the difference between this and the fan renders people made of cars 10 years ago.
Sometimes when I see AI pictures of people or animals I can spot it right away, but something like a drawing of a car isn’t as obvious to me
Upright basses are obnoxious to move but are really the only option if you have to play without amplification. As others have said you’re better off seeing if you can get away with a little amp but if not an upright may be you’re only option.
That being said they’re pretty neat. I’ve only used mine live a handful if times but its fun to play and I think it connects you to your bass playing roots
Don’t buy a nice one to start out. Just get some trashy one until you know if you like it or not
There are street legal autogyros that are a lot cheaper and make more sense as a crossover vehicle
Temporary solution: use a ratchet strap around the machine when not in use. They’re difficult for a child to release and easy to acquire. Its crude but it will work until you can find a more elegant solution
