I’m not weighing in on your argument. Just that the case you made is made up of useless statistics making it incredibly easy to dismiss.

That’s not how statistics works.

This just in: Taxes on products raises the price of products.

You love to see it. And I hope you’re right. The new DNC chair lacks any cohesive vision for the party, but he does seem to want to open up primaries.

The peace candidate.

At the top of the quick settings panel there is a power button.

You could argue that him just leaving and leaving the dems without a visionary leader is what led to our current situation. Or at least one part of what led to it. It also has a lot to do with his vice president…

And nobody has to like him for abandoning his series. He deserves all the criticism he gets.
You can blame crypto, you can blame AI, but when it comes down to it everything is worth what people are willing to pay. Clearly companies are pushing that further and further and people keep paying.
There was a generation where it was true at the launch of the console. That’s the period I’m talking about. Beating a 5 year old machine is hardly worth bragging about.
If they were, then you could build a PC for cheaper.

I only knew one person that had one. He worked for Microsoft.
That was a brief period when consoles were way over priced for the components they had.

So, even better argument for auto climate control. Set it once when you first get in your car and are still parked, then leave it. However, yes buttons please. If this meme is about buttons vs touch screen, then I strongly agree with the meme. My vehicle not only has the auto climate, but also it is using buttons. They’re stupid capacitive touch buttons that Hyundai has since switched back away from, but at least they’re always in the same spot and I don’t have to change any screens to access them.

Yeah, my gf does something similar, but opposite. She doesn’t like it going full blast so she turns down the fan which turns off the auto. I think if she had the version I did she would actually use it correctly.

Hard disagree with this. Climate control has become a must for me since the early 2000s. Set and forget is always better than fiddling with things. And now my current car has three levels of automatic so it doesn’t go full blast at the beginning, it’s amazing.

It’s funny how many teams need to learn that lesson. I pay some attention to hockey and is the same thing there. For the past two years it has been Edmonton v Florida in the Stanley Cup and both times Florida has won. Edmonton spends too much of their salary cap on just a few players while Florida has much more depth with players willing to take pay cuts to win. It seems Edmonton and McDavid might have figured this out as he is the best player in the sport right now and just re-signed for the same amount he was already making instead of asking for a huge raise. It’s wild how often people need to learn a lesson the hard way instead of learning from other’s mistakes.

I mean why would they reconsider having one of the largest current superstars performing? Especially if that star reaches to an audience share that you don’t already have and can potentially bring in new viewers to your sport?

I’m private sector and filled this out. It is very much worth it. If you have a clearance and can fog a mirror, you can get a decent job. If you have a clearance and you’re smart, the sky is the limit.
At the very least we should direct anger at Dick Durbin. He’s been the Illinois senator and the Democratic Whip for most of my life. He’s consistently on the wrong side of things and he just voted against the party leader to end the shutdown. The Whip… The one who’s job it is to ensure the party follows the direction put forth by the party leader. We need to get all of this ancient party leadership out.
