11·12 days agoHe’s definitely a communist of some variety. He does good introductions to socialist thought, but that doesn’t entail enough specificity to pinpoint his views. (Unless he has blatantly stated his views, maybe someone here knows.)
Should compare the wealth of billionaires to the wealth of the middle and lower class. The point still holds true but people can’t accuse you of comparing apples to oranges.

Well said. The current world order is rife with contradiction and the ruling class does not feel the need to hide behind their own propaganda any longer.

I agree with your point but we should avoid equivocating our words. The capitalists sees housing as a financial investment while we see it as an investment in the well being of the person/community. Housing may give a “return” on the productivity of the workforce, but we should house people regardless of financial incentive.

2·26 days agoThe core gameplay of Overwatch 1 was so good. And then the publisher decided to pause updates for two years in order to push a more heavily monetized update they marketed as a sequel. And with how toxic the workplace culture became, I’m surprised the union didn’t form sooner.
