Some of the Max hate stays ridiculous. Piastri literally slams the brakes to drop more than 150kmph in bad visibility and your reaction is: “why would Max do this?”

Overtaking on a semi wet track is no small feat. The normal line is quickly going to be a lot faster so as long as he can keep ahead in the first lap, he’s looking good to win.

Neither Norris nor Piastri will want to risk slipping off the track and possibly lose 18 points to each other. Either of them risking this past lap 1 would be considered as taking a high risk for a low reward.

I’m frustrated I can’t seem to find a place to buy it for pc easily. (Admittedly it’s not like I’m trying very hard since I’m not really interested in tweaking with simulators and stuff.) There was a game with that name in a sega retro thing sold on Steam but it’s definitely not the original version. I still know the start by heart.

This is again a race where Norris is reminding me of Bottas. So incredibly fast if he doesn’t have to overtake.

I agree their strategy is still abysmal, but the car is still obviously better. And getting lucky with a safety car is not strategy. (And every top team and driver gets this advantage from time to time)

I don’t think that this would happen this early in the season tbh. And if they wanted the race itself more interesting they’d red flag it for a restart.
