Check out “The Great Railway Bazaar: By Train Through Asia” by Paul Theroux. It might fit the bill. If that appeals to you, then definitely look into his other books too.
It takes me longer to recover from the consequences of playing ice hockey.
This feels like the library of Alexandria is about to burn (again).
I live in downtown Denver and haven’t driven in 12+ years, and rarely (maybe 4x a year) use rideshares. I’m not sure where your plans took you, but there are many of us living comfortably in Denver without a car.

Thank you for your excellent work. Much appreciated.
Thank you!!!
One of my favorite tunes ever. I had no idea there was a legit video of them playing it. Geeze, they’re SO young! That whole album (In Search of the Lost Chord) is phenomenal and must be played as a whole, in order. It’s truly an end-to-end work of art.
Is this real??? (Ohpleaseohpleaseohplease let it be real…)

Same with my 2014 Subaru Outback. I’m holding onto it as long as I can.
Oh shittymorph, wherefore art thou?
Not quite an answer, but it was one sketch called Black Jeopardy in last night’s 3 hour long SNL 50th Anniversary special. Maybe that will help you find it.
