I think you mean government mandated paid maternity leave. In America, companies themselves decide the leave they want to give their employees.
Is it right? No. But the framing is disingenuous and implies no one in the US EVER gets maternity leave EVER, and that’s not true.

I also saw it as a joke… Now, whether or not wearing a joke shirt like that is acceptable? I’m not so sure lmao It’s just EXTREMELY poor taste.
But if it isn’t a joke… 😳
I don’t get the grace your giving a person who voted explicitly to harm migrants, the lgbt community, homeless people, marginalized people, leftists, lawyers, judges and anyone who isn’t white.
Baby back liberals as their enemies wrap the noose around their neck

Yeah, the real shooter is probably in the woods somewhere barely surviving off what they can find. At least, that’s more reasonable than doing a high profile assassination and going to McDonalds for a burger after (I know it was days later, it’s hyperbole).
I would love to try it out, but if there is one thing that will make me want to set the world on fire: it’s tech issues lmfao Not saying that’s what the experience is like, I just kinda get that impression from memes and shit
The setup does not seem undaunting lmao
To be honest, not really. But I guess I got acclimated to Windows through the computers at my schools, so maybe that’s why.
I will admit, the environment feels more ‘open’ even if utilizing that openness is convoluted or requires more technical skills.
I think the main draw for me was the hardware and the ability to ‘easily’ replace it. Can’t do that on an iMac lol
I grew up on Mac and only switched to Windows when I was 30. lol
I still wonder what Linux is like… It’s probably cool.
With all the zionists and people using the word ‘tankie’, I think it’s safe to say Reddit has fully compromised Lemmy
