Hello! I drink water.
It’s so sad to hear that KDE died of figma.
(For real though I’m looking forward to seeing how this turns out, love Plasma a lot so hoping for the best from it)
I’ve never been to a naming convention but I have been to some comic conventions!
*Atari Jaguar :P
I think he might have been the only good thing to come out of the Jag lol
I am SO happy this game is getting made. I loved Astro’s Playroom so much.

Except that one time. We don’t talk about that one time 😰
(For real though I’m glad they put so much thought into the UX with accents, this is an awesome addition to the DE)
I tried that but flatpack apps kept using the Gnome file picker anyway, there were some flags for some of them to change it but having to do that for each app felt like too much of a pain ^^;
Tbh there’s been a known issue for like 10+ years where the file picker doesn’t allow for gallery/thumbnail viewing, or really any kind of file list viewing options aside from the absolute basic file list. So like if you’re someone who is uploading images to a website, hope ya named the files in a very specific way cause wooooh. XD
Above anything else, that was the primary reason I switched to KDE Plasma.

Apparently this did actually get fixed somewhat recently but my distro doesn’t seem to have the fix yet so 🤷
But that file picker though
I love Bad Lip Reading so much
For those who don’t know, Meta reached out to big instance admins and invited them to some kind of meeting:
https://mstdn.social/@stux/110567524159195690
Stux didn’t go but was invited, and confirmed this. Those who went were made to sign an NDA.
I’m of the opinion that we should defederate right away from Meta’s service. I don’t see any advantage to giving them a chance as their whole modus operandi is collecting and harvesting user data. The whole NDA stuff really rubbed me the wrong way.
For me, everyone else knew I was gay before I did. I want to say I finally figured it out when I was 14 or 15 and I met a guy in high school who I thought was really nice looking and quickly realised I actually just found him hot. Ironically a few years later after graduating I saw him on Grindr hahah but he was never particularly kind to me anyway so nothing actually came of that.
I think I probably would’ve figured out I was gay way earlier if it hadn’t been drilled into me by my parents at an early age that it was absolutely NOT ok to be gay and also I definitely wasn’t gay no matter what anyone else said. They knew as far back as that but to this day they won’t acknowledge it cause they got those hardcore republican anti-gay values and whatnot.
