Ok, I don’t think kindness is a bad thing but I do think the type of hero who’s all vanilla and too good to be true feels fake. I can’t relate to someone who always makes the right choice without fail and who has near unlimited power. I also think it makes for a more boring story. I like stories where the heroes aren’t perfect and need to learn to be better.


Ok, I get this argument and you’re correct about the events of the film but I think when most people say we’re living in Idiocracy they’re talking about before the events of the film and how it got that way. For example, Brawndo had to start being used for crops at some point and it was almost certainly a greedy corporate exec that decided to start advertising it that way.
So glad someone already said it. I’m a neuroscience PhD student who works with brain organoids and the article is absolutely ridiculous.
Also, I’m not aware of any labs or research that has been able to produce brain organoids with functional blood vessels. Having a necrotic core is normal for old organoids.
