Yeah, who are the same dudes who want to destroy the earth in exchange for profit, by pretending global climate change is not the single largest existential threat to the working class. When you’re rich, you can be anywhere you need to be to avoid weather catastrophies.

BeNotAfraid@lemmy.worldto politics @lemmy.world•As oligarch fortunes soar: The case for expropriating the billionaires2·3 days agoWhat am I wrong about? You think the equity held by private honeowners is worth more than an infinite line of credit from JP Morgan and Chase Bank? You’re a moron.
Bullshit, made up by billionaires to continue to obfuscate the literal ecocide of our planet in exchange for profits. Tired, boring, shill shit. Why does the one rebelling against the mainstream, the guys who are “just asking questions” repeat the same lie told by ‘The Man’ over and over again and how it just so happens to serve the bottom line of those destroying the Earth for those profits. Indoctrination, that’s how I explain it. Also, global climate models *did not exist * in the 1800’s we started modelling climate change in the 1960’s. So, your data can’t possibly be accurate in relation to what we have now, because our methodology is just so much better thanks to the advent of technology and improved record keeping. Models, which have been shown to be frighteningly accurate and actually less than what is actively progressing right now, due to the massive additional carbon emissions created by Amazon.com’s influence on the global supply chain. You’re wrong and you’ll continue to be wrong and present tired, dis-proven talking points that serve the small number of men that will destroy us all because of the capitalist hellscape they have created with fiat money. A mass hallucinatio of a valuable resource that does not exist. But, I’d rather look for a solution than continue to debate you. Not everyone can be saved, it’s not worth trying.

BeNotAfraid@lemmy.worldto politics @lemmy.world•The Project 2025 Presidency: The blueprint for Trump 2.0 predicted much of what we’ve seen so far—and much of what’s to come.41·3 days agoBecause the union leaders have been bought by Trump. They don’t need to lead anytjhing. Saying, this person needs to lead, or this thing needs to happen. Is just putting the responsibility onto others while you feign powerlessness. Not me, I’m not responsible for this, I didn’t ask for this…
How many people have asked why nobody stopped the Nazi’s when they started disappearing people? Diffusion of responsibility is why. You can always find a reason why you don’t need to and then you can assuade any guilt through the technology your corporate masters have given you. Just keep pretending, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.
BeNotAfraid@lemmy.worldto politics @lemmy.world•As oligarch fortunes soar: The case for expropriating the billionaires25·3 days agoBollocks, billionaire propaganda. Less that 3,000 people collectively control more than 90% of the World’s wealth. It doesn’t pale in comparison to anything. You’re just a bootlicker, or contrarian, makes no difference. You’re still wrong.
“Stuart McMillen’s webcomic adapts (and updates) Postman’s famous book-length essay, Amusing Ourselves to Death, which argues that Aldous Huxley’s vision of the future in Brave New World was ultimately more accurate than the one proposed by George Orwell in 1984.”
So, I was correct.
Well I’ll not get in a dystopia measuring competition with you.

Just want to add, Musk’s Grandad, the enlightened scientist and leader of the technocratic movement, was a chiropractor. They’re all crooks.

Actually, unlike every other auto manufacturer in the world Tesla dealerships aren’t franchised businesses. They’re all privately owned by Musk. So, hurting the dealership directly effects his personal assets. Tesla own everyone of the buildings and the businesses themselves. Unlike, say Honda, Toyota and everyone else who just license their company name to the dealerships that are independently owned/operated.
