I’m not really sure that I think disenfranchising anyone is cool, but this rubs me wrong.

Awesome, thanks. I’ll have to check into that.

Is this something I could move existing hue lights and various ac outlets to?

At that point, you’re almost talking about a private web.
Accessable public information seems to me to be a different beast.
As an USAmerican. The absolute travesty that we sell in the grocery store is one of the worst crimes against humanity.
I want to live in world where we’re all walking distance from a bakery that makes real bread daily.
Lord of the Flies was also a direct answer to a book that was really popular during England’s colonial hey day(?) called the Island, I think.
Basically, English colonial culture wasn’t as good as we might have thought.
I once heard someone say that until very recently, mankind has not been able to produce enough food for everyone. So the question of how to get that supply everywhere it needs to be, is still a new problem.
I think that is an encouraging and exciting problem to have, but it’s still a problem.
I’ve installed mint, pop os and Ubuntu. TBH if it’s a spare, just download one and give it a go.
I really just play games and use a browser, so it’s been easy peasy for me. Look into making a partition for /home if you feel like you’ll swap around it makes it pretty easy. Then you can try a few out without too much of an issue.

Of I remember right from the super beatle days, there was a large tax they put in place to prevent this.
That was twenty some of years ago though, so no promises.

I mean, think of the markets! USAmericans just don’t have the bootstraps necessary to be able to afford products anymore.

I think that whole class of drugs are a bit horrifying.

I saw him sort of maintain that message recently. His counterpoint was that it hasn’t made much material difference in average lives.
I’m not sure I followed, I mean, would the current level of globalization be possible with faxes?
On the other hand, the internet is for ads, so maybe.

Maybe it sounds a bit more natural before it was translated.

Imagine every time you flip a coin there’s a 10% chance you get free ice cream.
I’d call that one in ten chances.

It sucks, but it was probably the only real move, and everyone knew it was going to happen. Maybe enough people saw their EBT card do something to ask a question.

It beats the mines.

I’m not sure we’re going to make it y’all.

In unrelated news, the communist party sees a boost in membership.
And you? You’re always right.
