Keep in mind that the super colorful one was the location for the Dallas zoo, so all the animals were actually thematic.
I will point out that this cannot change the result of the presidential election, since Trump didn’t win the state in question anyway.
I was kinda annoyed at the article for not giving any details on the kinds of policies they wanted there, even something as simple as better tax credits for having kids would go a long way towards making children affordable. And yet I am sure that’s not what these people are advocating for.
That stance against sports betting annoys me so much, because that means I can’t just look at everything they stand for and say I want the opposite.
I mean, I for one consider the innevitability of burn in to be enough of a problem that the lack of an OLED screen is an upside honestly.
You are partly correct about DS2. It did increment even by wiping without spending the souls, but on the other hand the ranges involved meant that there was very likely always someone in range.
Looks like it’s not an issue fortunately.
Aida said the new material is as strong as petroleum-based plastics but breaks down into its original components when exposed to salt. Those components can then be further processed by naturally occurring bacteria, thereby avoiding generating microplastics that can harm aquatic life and enter the food chain.
That clause was intended specifically for vehicle on vehicle incidents, I agree that if a vehicle hits a pedestrian they are always at fault.
On top of what everyone else has said, my stance in general is that anyone who harms another with their car should have their license revoked for at least 5 years if they were at all at fault, which this man certainly was being the driver hitting a pedestrian. On top of that, he’s at the age where he should probably stop driving anyway. While I don’t exactly believe this warrants jail time, especially if the driver has been as cooperative as they are saying, I do think he needs to be charged with something just to get him off the road for the foreseeable future. Outside of that though I do agree with you.
The 76-year-old driver will not face any charges.
Holy shit, the first thing I see when I visit that website is a popup telling me to either pay them, or accept that they are going to track me and sell the data to over 400 third parties. Fuck that.
That whole thing just sounds like a much more stupid version of ERIC, which notably Louisiana withdrew from a few years ago.
The Wii U sold poorly for many of the same reasons I expect the Switch 2 is likely to sell poorly. That is a price increase, not great marketing as far as I can tell, and it being possibly too similar to its predecessor. On the other hand, at least the switch 2 does seem to have a better lineup of launch titles than the Wii U did.
Oh hey, it’s this asshole. This guy is the reason I reacted to that news about making all court rulings only apply locally with some humorous positivity. (also because humor helps me cope with general awfulness)
I mean, they allow ai generated stuff, but that’s about it as far as I can tell, since they also let you filter ai stuff out as its own category of filter.
Hooray, I’m glad my thought process for initial steps was correct. If you don’t mind me asking, my thought process for the recommendation of canvasing as opposed to something like flyers is that doing so would make you and your efforts come across as more human and genuine, especially if part of the pitch was that Comcast was astroturfing, do you know if that’s something that actually works?
I don’t have any experience doing this, so take everything I say with a grain of salt, but my first step would be to collect information on how similar projects have turned out in the past, in terms of cost and adoption, as well as how much money Comcast is spending to counter this effort and what kinds of services they offer in the area at different price points. Then see if there are any people in the community that agree with you on the deployment of municipal internet who could be convinced to make the effort to assist you with convincing the rest of the community. With that information and those people, organize a canvasing effort, as in go door to door and actually talk to people about their stance on the matter. I would focus on that “locally owned and operated” argument, as well as the fact that if Comcast is spending money trying to prevent this they surely must be expecting to earn even more money from not having any competition in the area, so they can get away with higher prices and worse service.
Honestly I think it would be funny to see them try. The vtuber market is pretty resistant to allowing the kind of abusive monetization practices that techbros like, at least from my observations with Niji and the like.
Lies of P is amazing how dare you.
