Hollywood’s output is dogshit. There is very little interesting or unique or mind-blowing. Oh wow Deadpool talks like a teenager that just discovered sarcasm and swearing. Damn so cool and interesting, especially the 5th time. I boycott most of it out of principle, but it’s become easy.
I’ve never been much of a movie person (I watch maybe one movie a year, if that) but every time I unwillingly see a clip or meme from those marvel-style movies it’s just so off-putting. It’s such a relief to be oblivious to it all
Not much of a surprise that Hollywood is as out of touch with the globally oppressed as they are with their movie audiences.
