NASA TV is turning into a streaming only platform because internet that can support video streaming is widespread and cheap and never ever has caps that make you prioritize work and important things over television right? Right? RIGHT?!??

I have no data on nasa.
But streaming only platforms are much cheaper then video archive platforms. You don’t have to maintain a huge backlog of videos forever, so your storage requirements are almost zero. Twitch is cheaper to run than YouTube for instance.
