    Ironivally, the only country that officially uses kilometer is…the US.

      Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden all use Meter

      Here in Germany, it’s also called “kilometer”, albeit in our German bastardization of Ancient Greek.

      nah a lot of people around the world use US spelling because it is more accessible and generally makes more sense than french
