Telegram is just actually superior in terms of features I don’t get it.

    Yeah I am most hype about running matrix bridges for all my clients and then federating my matrix server with a few friends’ instances. I love the idea of decoupling myself from all the chat networks and exposing nothing except my VPS to them.
