For people who enjoy craft,
I really like the last crochet post: https://discuss.tchncs.de/post/10174554
For art lovers, there is !artshare@lemmy.world, !traditional_art@lemmy.world, artists post there quite regularly, very nice
!yurop@lemm.ee is a laid back community for Europeans. The main idea is to keep away from the news (those are mostly on !europe@feddit.de ) and focus more on history, culture, questions to people, etc.
For communities for centered around people and living
There’s a few parenting focused ones that have popped up. Namely !dads@feddit.uk and !fatherverse@midwest.social. I wonder if it’s just a case of having a relatively small pool of people spread out across multiple communities?
Thank you for those, I wasn’t aware!
!map_enthusiasts@sopuli.xyz always shows nice maps, I also try to post there from time to time
For movies and tv shows
Last but not least, I started a new more “structured” discussion community for movies and TV shows, trying to have the same vibe as in !casualconversation: !movies@lemm.ee. The objective is really to center the community around discussions rather than news, feel free to have a look!
That starwars community is dead, Jim. It’s !star_wars@lemmy.world that has the activity.
Hello master of !trendingcommunities@feddit.nl!
You are correct, I’ll edit the link right away
Thanks, literature.cafe communities are definitely nice, I like !chat@literature.cafe
Yep I’ve seen you around there often, especially the harry potter community
Yes, I try to keep the community active
!brokenbutwhole if you need some encouragement
Which instance?
It’s a new one called Uranushertz
Very mature
!lego@lemmy.world is very nice for the brick lovers. I try to post creations there every day, most reactions are positive

Thanks for sharing! Those seem valuable resources to prepare for CS interviews, you can probably suggest them as answers to a question in !cs_career_questions@programming.dev
