    they won’t leave reddit.

    I dunno, man. That statement is not without some merit, but it’s still a bold take when you’re posting right now in a community full of people who did exactly that.

      You would be right if more people left reddit. Most people I saw didn’t leave and those that “left” generally returned after some time. A lot of people left which is why a lemmy gained a lot of traction but I assure you they are lower than 5% of reddit’s userbase, which is why reddit continues with these stupid actions, they know they won’t lose any money.
