There’s something terrify about the speed a child can undress. Literally 5 second of distraction is all it takes to be befuddled by nudity. Start your turn in monopoly, roll, move, grimace because you’re being forced to play monopoly, and question how the hell they got undressed so quickly. I swear, it’s the most underrated childhood superpower.

I remember putting the kids to bed as a baby sitter, then chilling on the lazy boy until suddenly a kid is butt naked running right out the front door into a thunderstorm. Nothing like chasing a crazy naked kid through the neighborhood in friggin socks.

Not only on this, but also the incessant screaming at the exact time of day when you’re feeling most exhausted. It’s really an experience!

Also spreading shit everywhere, or pooping diaper when you’re about to go out, or waking up to screaming and nosebleed with all bed in blood, or puke everywhere, or breadcrumbs in YOUR bed, or drawing on the walls.

I could continue for long, but every day you see your kid learn something new makes it all worth it. Couple days ago kid gave me a kiss on cheek when I picked her from kindergarten. I also never forget the day we bought a balance bike for her and went to learn ride it. Or the first time she grabbed my finger with her little hand.

Dads life is the hardest and absolutely best time I’ve had in my life
