Xbox marked the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's campaign with a large splash screen at startup, to the chagrin of some fans.

Xbox users booting up their console today were greeted with a large splash screen prompting them to buy it now that the new campaign is out, and some of them aren’t too happy about it.

    I kinda hope Valve gets put into some kind of employee-owned foundation when Gabe leaves. Doesn’t need to be a non-profit, but it would be great if it could be set up in such a way that it can never be sold, only dissolved, and that if dissolved all IP and assets become open source/public domain.
