An interesting post going over the history of the social bookmarking site Delicious.

It’s not comprehensive as it was mainly for the author’s own research, but it’s a compelling read all the same imo.

    Wow, there’s a name I haven’t heard in a long time, I think that just unlocked a core memory for me. While I didn’t use del.icio.us heavily, I did feel like there was something super useful about it. In a way it felt way more web 2.0 than Facebook ever did, a true utility.
