This month, the world celebrates the victories and struggles of the LGBTQ community. In the U.S., from Stonewall to Marriage equality, we march every year in local pride celebrations to acknowledge these victories. This year, it is particularly important to come out and join the LGBTQ community when it is under attack by the billionaire agenda of the Trump administration. The bigoted attacks on trans people and queer youth are part of Project 2025, the playbook for the Trump administration in effort to undue all the social gains made by the people of this country.

The billionaire agenda of the Trump administration is to carry out attacks on immigrants, the DOGE’ing of social services, attacks on DE&I, labor and women’s rights, and the vicious attacks on queer and trans people that question their right to exist. Trump is trying to overturn all the progressive gains fought for, going as far back as before the labor struggles of the 1930s that resulted in social security and unemployment insurance. While attacking the people in the U.S., the Trump administration continues to fund the genocidal Israeli régime, which continues to kill and displace the Palestinian people of Gaza. The bombing of Iran raises the possibility of a war that will engulf the planet.

The ANSWER Coalition believes that only the mobilization of the people of the country and the world can stop the anti-people policies of the US government.

Say no to anti-LGBTQ bigotry! Join us this Sunday, June 29, in San Francisco as part of the resistance contingent of the 2025 Pride March. Please arrive by 10 am at Embarcadero Plaza and look for ANSWER placards. Together, the people can stop the billionaire agenda.
