Eh, I don’t think so. Certainly, there are some true believers that are absolutely off the deep end (Mike Johnson might be in that group), but I think most of them are nothing more than spineless, soulless, greedy, narcissistic, sycophantic, grifting remora - willing to say and do anything to enrich themselves and inflate their own ego.
