#Speedcubing
Fact: there are no average sub-10 cubers over 40s!

source: https://wca-seniors.org/Senior/_Rankings.html#333-average

A thought to all the senior cubers as me 😉

      Oh hey! I’ve seen you around Lemmy, but didn’t know you’re a cuber! Glad to see you here.

      @FundMECFSResearch
      I wish you, but… Think about your times could decrease 😬

      Other fact: there are no sub-30 cubers over 70. Cross fingers! 😁

        Hhaha. I was sub 10 at my peak. I haven’t seriously cubed in like 8 years.

        So I would definitely need to invest a lot of time to get back there.

          Sub 30 back in the day, our method wasn’t very speed optimized. I can still solve them when one pops up, so it’s a fun skill to have in my pocket.

    @l_inadapte @cubers

    There is also a website with Senior Kinch Ranks: https://pglewis.github.io/wca-recent-senior-records/kinch-ranks/
    and the Recent Senior Records has a different presentation (all age categories together): https://pglewis.github.io/wca-recent-senior-records/recent/

      @narusite @cubers
      And if you select 3x3 event, you have different results. It’s strange 🤔

        @l_inadapte @cubers
        In https://pglewis.github.io/wca-recent-senior-records/recent/ there are only recents events. And singles and averages are mixed. Also, you’ll have to select 90 days since yellow results from wca-seniors.org are less than 3-month old

          @narusite @cubers
          I don’t really understand the point 🤷
          But you can “unmixed” singles and averages with Result.
