No Azure for Apartheid on Instagram: "🚨🚨🚨BREAKING! 🚨🚨🚨 Former Microsoft workers and No Azure for Apartheid organizers @hossamnasr_ and @vaniya.agrawal disrupt Sarah Bird, Chief Product Officer of Responsible AI at a Microsoft Build Day 2 breakout session hosted by MS Security. The livestream for this breakout session abruptly ended. Neta Haiby, Director of AI Security, was also a presenter with Sarah Bird. Neta was previously the Head of Security AI in ISNOTREAL and also SERVED IN THE IOF where she "learned that most of the startup ideas in Israel are born in the Intelligence Forces" (IOF)! Hossam and Vaniya reached the stage - and Vaniya revealed and flew the Palestinian flag. Even as they were pushed out by security - Hossam and Vaniya kept chanting "FREE PALESTINE: DISCLOSE, DIVEST, WE WILL NOT STOP, WE WILL NOT REST." HOW DARE MICROSOFT TALK ABOUT "RESPONSIBLE AI" when Microsoft sells AI to power the U.S.-Israeli war machine. At #MSBuild, Microsoft showcases and advertises their cloud & AI technology "innovations" used by the IOF to accelerate war crimes against Palestinians. In October 2024, Hossam Nasr was fired by Microsoft for organizing a lunchtime vigil to honor Palestinian martyrs and call attention to Microsoft’s complicity in the genocide. Last month in April, Vaniya Agrawal disrupted Microsoft's 50th Anniversary with Ibtihal Aboussad - fired for their actions. This follows a disruption made earlier today by a Palestinian tech worker who confronted Jay Parikh at the Microsoft Build Day 2 keynote -- and yesterday's No Azure for Apartheid rally outside the Seattle Convention Center, along with disruptions by Joe Lopez, a Microsoft worker with No Azure for Apartheid and a former Google worker with @notechforapartheid during @satyanadella keynote for #MSBuild Day 1. Learn more about Microsoft's deep ties with the IOF: noaa.cc/why Follow our campaign: @noazureforapartheid SHUT DOWN MICROSOFT BUILD FOR PALESTINE!"
