Not sure how it’s “admitted.” He’s said very similar things before, with it clear from context that he’s referring to how if he’d won in 2020, he’d already be done with his second term. Not that he rigged the most recent election. Another repetition of the big lie, but this is nothing new.

I agree, it’s likely ambiguous not because he’s dumb and doesn’t know how he sounds but because he knows exactly how this sounds and is trying to make this a soundbite that gets the left riled up, but more importantly continually pushes the norms of what he can say and propose he might do, so that we’re all numb by the time he does the autocratic things he is doing right now. He’s a senile imbicilic buffon, but he’s also a comedic conniving mobster. He’ll try to lean on the former when it’s time to prove his culpability in court, once he’s been ousted. It’s for that reason in our best interests to remember two things can be true.
