Way back freed slaves were told, they would get forty acres and a mule if they fought for the Union in the Civil War. How come this seems to be swept aside over they years and not a point of fire?

    Where the land was, no white person would have been allowed to live.

    And it was up to 40 acres, they set a cap but no minimum.

    Not sure why you’re talking about union soldiers tho
