In the month since the US launched a major military campaign targeting the Houthi rebel group in Yemen, the militants have successfully shot down at least seven multi-million-dollar American drones, hindering the US’ ability to move into “phase two” of the operation, multiple US officials familiar with the matter told CNN.

    The US has eager tax payers and a large tax base, they can afford to lose millions more.

        I really hope so. The US, otherwise, will never do what’s right. Someone somewhere needs to rise up to the occasion and stop them. South west Asia is too fragmented and weak to defend itself.

      Yeah. The transfer in vast quantities of dollars from the taxpayer to defense contractors is in no way whatsoever a “problem” or “cost” involved with any given war. It is a core design goal.
