I never heard that song before either. Sounds like every other pop song.
I had the same issue. There were at least three other songs that year which had almost identical intros.
Streaming services, iPods, and phones have made music an individual experience rather than a common one. If it’s less than 20 years old and not something I would seek out and listen to, I don’t have a chance at this game.
