Urgent requests for weapons will run up against the House speaker drama and the looming shutdown.

The U.S. Army wants to help supply both its Ukrainian and Israeli allies with as many bombs and other equipment as they need in their separate wars.

But it can’t happen as long as Congress in chaos.

Pentagon leadership is still in the early stages of evaluating what Israel might need to battle Hamas militants, but an administration briefing to members of Congress laid out some early markers: air-to-ground bombs, and air defense systems.

Help Ukraine full stop. Helping Israel will only help them commit genocide. Fuck Hamas, and fuck Netanyahu’s Israel.

Just think about who benefits from all the chaos and the huge loss of soft power this means for the US (hint: it’s Putin). Then you know who those fuckers work for.

Damn, the American military complex must be loving all these wars. Hopefully it means the US won’t need to invade anyone for this decade

The “moral right” is standing in the way of the MIC, and that is never a good place to be standing. A lot of very powerful individuals are going to be making moves, I bet.

That’s their function. They advise where warfare is in the nation’s best interest. It’s always been that way.

Now Congress can and will limit them. But their capacity has always been who we should attack. It’s even parodied in movies when generals are advising leaders in movies.
