What’s most annoying about this is Dessalines acting as if Muslims are a monolith and as if dictators speak for their people. Have they never considered the possibility that Muslim countries haven’t denounced the genocide because their leaders have material incentives to deny it? I mean lord knows the US has officially denied genocides for the sake of geopolitical self-interest.
