      Another great term I’ve been hearing recently is ‘manufactured consent’. Just spin the narrative as much as possible so it aligns with your goals, pretend what’s right in front of you is something else. Pretend Trump is a reasonable candidate so you can rake in more money, scrub over a genocide with passive language, call a Nazi salute an odd hand gesture.
