    Was going to say it looks like a half dog half fruitbat. (But i dont think they live in brazil… also that is impossible.) But a fruitbatdog would be pretty cute.

    A stray canine in Brazil has turned out to be a whole new breed of adorable. According to a genetic study, the female animal is most probably the first of its kind – a hybrid between a South American pampas fox and a dog. Otherwise known as a dogxim.

      I’m not sure I’d necessarily blame humans. A hybrid between two species that are in different genera, which diverged over 6 million years ago, and which have different numbers of chromosomes, would likely have had any number of genetic abnormalities which could have caused it to die. “Hybrid vigour” only works up to a certain point, generally only within a species. Once hybridisation occurs outside the species, more health issues rather than less appears to be the norm.
