In face of climate change, I can think of two more favorable solutions: Subsidize your own EV production. No one should be willing to buy an ICE anymore, anyways. Invest in public transit, bike infrastructure, cargo bikes. No one (except rural folks) should be dependent on owning a car, anyways.
