I mean, she was definitely using her phone while driving at 70mph. Does it really matter whether or not she was taking a pic or sending a text? It’s still incredibly dangerous.
I feel like a lot of people have never done a long road trip where you’re driving hundreds of miles through the night. Taking your phone out and snapping a pic isn’t a huge deal IMO. I certainly don’t pull over to change with my radio and taking a picture is arguably easier than that.
I bet you money you’ve made exceptions for yourself. “This is a really long red light.” “ I’m going to sit at the stop sign a little longer. This is important.”
To be fair, I think texting while stationary at a red light is a tad different than trying to take a photo at a whopping 70mph (check the speedometer).
I hate people that text and drive. Pull over.
Wife took a picture, there is no texting and driving

No, it was all safe. She took the picture from the passenger seat while OP was sleeping.

Literally never. I value my life and those of others around me.
