And the Frankfurt Shower – a shower in the kitchen – was not part of the original design of the Frankfurt Kitchen? Maybe the name for the shower is just a play on the kichen success?

I don’t know when the name came up. But having a real bath in your kitchen or next to it came up a little earlier (around 1900) and started in wealthier households. You needed space, running water, a heating source and sewage connection.
